Miya has been very sweet and affectionate with Max lately. Prior to this, she would cry because Max tore her art project or is usually all in her business. I think he has discovered is new found skill of walking and being able to manipulate objects better. When Troy's mom & Leonard were in town, Max was attempting to walk 2-3 steps at a time. Right after Memorial weekend, he started to talk 6-8 steps. Now we are at about 12+ steps on hard surfaces. Carpet throws his balance off.
I definitely thing he's our funny little guy. He loves to play games, peek-a-boo around the corner is a big favorite or making silly movements and gets all of us laughing. He thinks he sooo funny... ok he is.
We went to visit my friend's Amy's baby who is about 4 mos now. We wanted to visit sooner, but I don't think she would appreciate my snotty kids. I don't blame her. Samantha is really cute, with really full cheeks and some crazy hair. The hair is Karis, Carson, Miya newborn crazy.
Max is really turning into boy and loves cars, loud noises, trucks. In NYC he couldn't stop saying hi/ bye to all the trucks & buses that rolled by, while Miya would close her ears and say "too loud." Some of the words Max is finally saying... hi, bye, boo, poo-poo, maybe mama (not sure). We do hi-fives on command, and he picks up his foot to let me put on his shoes when leave the house. The drool still has yet to stop and two more teeth coming in, the fangs.
While playing with cars, Max car noises has gone from blllp (rasberries) to vroooom. I think he picked this up from Esther & Miya when they were playing cars yesterday. Miya is getting better with writing and knows all the sounds of each letter. Her difficulty is putting the sounds together to make a word. Still wearing dresses on a daily basis, and can't forget the pink. Her latest accomplishment is that she can count an recognize 1-100 without any help.
