Trip to Seattle

As a last hurrah before Kindergarten, we took a trip to Seattle.  My sister's family had come down to the bay area a couple of times this year, but thought it would be nice to go up and visit.

Miya and Karis always hit it off right away.  They see each other, giggle and take off.   The last time the girls saw each other was towards the end of August where Miya slept two nights in a row at my parents house to hand out with Karis.  Miya said she was fine and would be a good girl and listen to my sister and grandma.  Max did well on the flight and fell asleep for about 30 min.  Not very long but enough to keep him calm.  

Because the girls went to sleep so late, Miya actually slept in and work up at 6:30am.  Yes, that is sleeping in for Miya who normally gets up between 5:30am- 6am.   I think she is just an early bird like Troy.

During the trip, the girls received their first mani.  Karis had her nails painted two different shades of pink.  Miya went with sparkly pink and sparkly gold.   The lady also painted little flowers on the nails.  It was pretty exciting for the girls and they felt very fancy.

Max and Carson played a little but I think Carson wanted to be left alone.  Max didn't seem to care much and opted to bother the girls instead.  On this trip, Max started to call Miya instead of noona.  I think it was from preschool, where everyone called her Miya and while on this trip, everyone was calling her Miya.

Max has started to get interest in rough housing and seeing older boys rough house.  He tries to play wild with Miya, but she wants nothing to do with it.  Miya usually ends up crying and Max does not understand what just happened.  It usually ends to Max saying sorry to Miya "no cry I huggie, it's ok."  So cute..

Max is staying up later and later.  We still put him down the same time 8:00pm, but he does not fall asleep until ~8:45pm and sometimes falls asleep at 9:15pm.  So late!  I have to wake him up no later than 6:20m.
