Preschool had their annual holiday performance, which was much
more entertaining this year. The tiger class (Max) had them do a lot
more action with their music but was unable to take pics. I couldn't
figure out why the camera wouldn't take the pics. So irritated with
myself because I took a couple of test shots before the performance and it was
working. The card was locked, not sure how. The pics would have
been good since Max likes to sing and dance.
Miya had he annual Christmas performance as well. The most proud moment for Miya was that she in the back row with all the tall kids. LOL! Singing & dancing is not her thing.
This Christmas was extra special because my sister and her fam was
in town. They had moved from Seattle to Chicago over the summer
and thought it would be nice to come to CA for the holidays. The kids got
to see each other, and M&M slept at grandmas. Lots of fun.
Miya lost tooth #9. Quite proud of herself. She was so
excited that she forgot to put it under her pillow. When she remembered
the following night, the tooth fairy did not come, which was disappointing.
I had explained that it was raining that evening and fairies can't fly
when it rains because their wings get wet.
My sister sure knows how to wear out the
boys.... while my sister was helping the girls on a craft project, this is what
she discovered in the living room...
Our annual New Year's Eve was at Auntie Iku's house, where we get together with Troy's side of the family. We tried to give the kids a nap in order to stay up to midnight. Nap did not happen for the kids, but was still in good spirits during the evening hours. We all ended up leaving around 9pm. It was really late and you can see the kids were starting to wind down. It was about a 45 min drive home and both M&M were able to stay awake the entire ride home! Suffice to say, going to bed was not an issue as both kids zonked out.
