So Far....So Good!

Max is doing a lot better, he is sleeping for an extended amount of time at night...sometimes up to 8 hours and he is doing it by himself...good job Max, your sleeping is allowing your parents to get some rest, although juie is still tired...i think she is forgetting what it was like about 3 weeks ago. He is even getting better napping...although he has a lot of room for improvement..sometimes he is good, sometimes not so good. I think Julie is going to sleep train him for naps soon...i hope so because julie only has one more month of vacation at home (hahaha) then its time to go back to work. You wonder why I laugh...well ask Julie if she thinks maternity leave is vacation. I personally am going to miss that because I will have to do more daily chores is my guess...in addition to my overworked day at work and participating of the caregiving of the two children. Sometimes the father is overlooked when there are new children in the family...that is sooo the case here.

Miya went on a egg hunt for easter..overall she had a great time as you can see from the pictures above. She did freak out at the big easter bunny that appeared before they released the kiddies to hunt for eggs, I am not surprised tho...she is pretty much afraid of anything new...i wonder where she gets that from?? Julie says me...but yet i moved from one state to another to live and she has never lived outside the state...makes you wonder...oh and wanting to travel to foreign places...does not count.

Anyway, after the big hunt, there was arts and crafts that took place, she made a necklace, some painting, etc. While she was making her necklace, someone came by and stole her eggs right out of her easter egg basket...man, that was pretty low...but the place had some extra empty eggs and they put them in her basket. Later...and then when she got home, we put some treats in it and let her open them...i dont think she cared one way or the other.

Then this past weekend, we did another easter egg hunt for her in the house (since it was raining and cold outside) and she had a ball finding all of the eggs...now she thinks all colored eggs have little treats in it...boy, she is going to be disappointed when she realizes thats not true.

It was also recently julie's b-day...she wont let me say how old she is...but suffice to say she doesnt look her age...whatever that might be...miya likes birthdays since she probably, at this point, equates a birthday to cake or cupcake or other sweets. Her b-day is this month...so im sure she will be looking forward to it...that reminds me i need to start getting her gifts since she finally understands them and loves them...anytime we come home with something in a bag or box...she thinks its hers and wants to see it, it was only a matter of time i guess.

Max's pizza face is doing a thousand times better, that cortaid...its magic..i recommend it....but then again, maybe you should talk to your doctor first. Maybe its a coincidence, but maybe the clearing of the eczema has allowed him to sleep better...i think its just a coincidence.

These are quick pictures of one of Miya's good friends at pre-school...josie...miya pretty much follows...i wish she would lead once in a while, something to work on.

Miya also got a haircut, but no pictures yet, that will be the teaser for my next post...you can see her in her much shorter hair, then again, really who looks forward to this other than my parents and some relatives...for you others out there, it must be borderline obnoxious when parents do this kind of stuff about their children...but hey at least its not a blog about my pet or something.
