Miya had no camp a couple of days before 2nd Grade, so she came to work with me. Completely bored and nothing to do. Most of her learning websites were blocked, so she resorted to my phone and her workbooks. She was well behaved and minded her business. The co-workers who walked by would joke with her and ask if she was our new hire. Miya of course, did not acknowlege starngers. I think the most exciting part for her, is ride on the BART trains.
First day of 2nd grade was quite exciting. Eliza & Miya were dressed in the same shoes, jacket & backpack, but sadly in assigned to a different class. Her other close friend is Inaya is in the same class, how exciting.
Some other highlights for Miya in August, she lost tooth#7, Troy forgot to pick her up from the 2nd soccer practice. As a result the coach has asked all the parents to stick around during practices.
Max, spent his first night away from home at grandma's with Miya, Carson, Karis at grandma's. My poor sister had her work cut out for her. Swimming is getting better, he is earning to actully get momentum and propel forward. When jumping in the pool, he's turning himself around towards the wall. Max is now obsessed with dogs, he keeps asking when we can get a dog... uh never?
