Poor Max he gets dragged around to all of Miya's game but we always make sure that he can attend his baseball games as well. Max LOVES game day, and would choose his baseball game above anything else. Max will rather leave early from a birthday party, before the birthday cake to attend his baseball game. Whoa.. he never passes cake..
Some other developments for Max, he has learned to go potty by himself at night, we started reading but does not like it at all. He would rather practice writing than reading, last month it was math instead of writing. Never ends.
Softball season came do an end where the Golden Tigers were 1st seed! Congrats to my little girl and Troy, what a great season and the girls have had sooo much enthusiasm. At the start of the season, Troy explained to the girls that if they do well during the season, there are playoffs where the best of the best get to play and win a trophy! Funny..
This is the first year where U8 age level participate on a competitive level and was a bit nervous for Miya. From Troy and my experience, Miya is a bit of a choker and did not have high expectations for her. Mean but real. I only wanted her to do her best and nothing else. Miya had been practicing at home, we attended pitching clinics to sharpen her form.
Hitting is no longer her strong suit, she can hit but a bit inconsistent. She hit her first double of the season which was against the Mustangs (Piedmont team). Between softball, baseball and soccer, Saturdays have become quite hectic and takes up the entire day. It's stressful at times but a ton of fun!
