Halloween

Still Troy writing, julie is MIA....it was Max's first Halloween....he was a bear, pretty cute..and miya was a fairy princess....all pink of course with wings, a tutu, and a headband thing...she loves it, she likes to wear it around the house, i think she thinks its another option including her regular clothes.

Miya had her second dentist appointment, according to Julie she did very well, of course she was nervous, but she did fine, no cavities and the dentist said she was doing a great job brushing and flossing her teeth...good job!

Miya had her schools annual Halloween parade at her preschool, they were worried it was going to rain, but the weather held out and the parade went off. They walked around the neighborhood, it was the first time, they did it as big kids, last year, they just went up and down the street, not very far, this time, the big kids, went all the way around the block, it was one long block, normally not too bad, but i was carrying max in a bjorn, oh man that kid is big and heavy, and he just sits there like a bag of rice. After that long walk, my back was aching...but max seemed to enjoy the ride and views as we walked around.

We also spent halloween in san diego with julies family and her parents, we were down in the carlsbad area since i had an all week conference for work, so they made a whole thing of it and we rented a place and stayed there. Miya and her cousin Karis, went trick or treating in the neighborhood where we were staying, they had a blast getting treats, the neighborhood was festive with decorations and everything, and people walking all over the place, a stark contrast to our neighborhood, which is usually not very active, but we were not there this year, so not sure what it was like, but more on the trip in a later post, for now, enjoy the pics.
