Miya hasn't quite mastered the army crawl yet. She definitely has power legs to push herself forward. I guess those juicy thighs are good for something! The limbs are "somewhat" coordinated except for her left arm, Miya doesn't realize she is suppose to move her arm forward. Instead her left arm gets caught underneath her body while her power thighs continue to push herself forward. Her latest thing, clicking with her tongue. Can't stop clicking when she gets a chance.
My sister came down to visit and her baby is crawling all over the place! The good news is that Miya is no longer afraid of Karis (cousin)! They played together for a little bit but Miya was more interested in Karis' toys. Karis is learning to share, but isn't quite there yet as she snatched some of the toys from Miya's hands. Sorry Miya, can't help it if your cousin has better toys!
Eating continues to be a non-issue. We're going to start feeding her solids twice a day because I just can't produce enough to satisfy her apetite! Rice cereal is too boring and she just plays around with the food in her mouth. We are hitting the last of the stage 1 fruits, which is apples which she loves. What doesn't she love (possible)? Squash, peaches and pears - takes awhile to take down.
I have found a new daycare with an immediate opening. The place is a bit out of the way, but if she's happy there, totally worth it! My first choice doesn't have a full time opening and they charge $1700/mo. I can't believe they are booked for full time infants, what do these parents do for a living??
